MLB: 2010 OPENING DAY SCORES!!!

By CDR

Folks, it’s that time once again! It is the start of the MLB baseball 2010 season! Opening Day for many teams kicked off today, April 5, 2010. The popcorn, hotdogs, and cracker jacks were all available in the stadiums for all baseball fans across the United States.

Opening Day in baseball often receives a lot of attention for some reason. Even people who are not too interested in the sport love to know the results and highlights of each game for Opening Day. We all know that all die-hard baseball fans will now begin to start rooting for their favorite teams and most probably know everything that has happened so far for every baseball squad.

So we thought…

What about the other percentage of people that are just curious of what occurred during Opening Day? What about the individuals that do not want to watch television and just want to know the final scores of all the teams that played? Believe it or not, people love to engage in conversation and knowing a small amount of baseball information can go a long way. It can propel a conversation from being dry to something worth talking about. It can strengthen bonds and create new relationships between people. It is definitely a great ice breaker and a fantastic way to get to know someone a little better.

So we figured… why not just post all the final scores for Opening Day? You never know… someone might ask you “Hey, you know who won the game between the Mets and the Marlins on Opening Day? For many years, you probably would have answered “No”, but this time it will be different. This time you are ready and will answer “Yes! I actually do… Mets won 7-1 on Opening Day”. For someone that does not really follow MLB baseball, it will feel good that you actually know. It might not be the biggest thing in the world, but it is something that can definitely make you feel “one” with everybody else.

Here are the final scores of the 2010 MLB Baseball Season – Opening Day.
