On the night when the Anaheim Ducks battled the Nashville Predators in the NHL 2011 Playoffs, Ducks right wing Bobby Ryan performed one of the most remarkable goals the sport has ever seen. No one could have drawn it up any better. A highlight reel that will be forever engraved in everyone’s minds because it was just that GOOD!

The goal was set up with the puck being stolen by Ducks winger Bobby Ryan from Nashville’s David Legwand. As both players skated down to Nashville’s territory, Legwand was right alongside Ryan trying to somehow deflect or steal the puck once again. However, instead of actually stealing the puck, Bobby Ryan performed one of the greatest “dekes” to an opposing player in decades. It was a move that ninety-five percent of the fans in the stadium had never seen completed to perfection. Surprisingly, a goal that would only seem possible in a movie was performed and no one in the whole arena knew what to say. It was electrifying.

Nonetheless, the Nashville Predators managed to win the playoff game in overtime with a score of 4-3. The victory was given to the Nashville Predators, but the moment of that night will forever belong to Bobby Ryan.
