In an interview during batting practice, All-Star American League third baseman Evan Longoria showcased his raw talent to the public by catching a foul ball barehanded.

That’s not all. Longoria was able to achieve this amazing catch with his back turned away from the ball while answering the reporter’s questions. The foul hit ball was going straight for the reporter and without a doubt, would have hit the woman interviewer in the head.

As the baseball was nearing close to the reporter, Evan Longoria quickly managed to turn around and grab the baseball with his right hand and with ease, throw it back into the infield saying “Man, guys, keep it on the field.”

If this catch doesn’t boggle your mind, then we don’t know what will. There were certainly rumors that the interview was a designed TV commercial for Gillette, being that Longoria was named as one of the athletes to represent the brand.

Other sources claim that the conversation was indeed a real interview and that Evan Longoria actually caught the baseball in real-time. Is the video authentic or not? Who cares! At the end of the day, Evan Longoria surely made it look real and very easy.
