After losing to the Miami Heat in Game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals with the score of 83-80, the Chicago Bulls were left speechless. Not only did the Bulls players underachieve in the conference series against the Heat, Chicago also allowed Miami to advance to the NBA 2011 Finals by blowing a 12-point lead with less than 4 minutes to go at home. Led by the Miami stars in LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, the Miami Heat stormed back with an 18-3 run and ultimately pulled off the victory and escape to the NBA 2011 Finals.
The season for the Chicago Bulls definitely ended on a sour note. It was a frustrating series for the MVP Derrick Rose and the Bulls, as the team will be taking an early departure in the 2011 NBA Playoffs.
Before exiting the playoffs completely, Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah had some last words for the Miami Heat. During a post-game interview, Noah had expressed his feelings and continued to state the following:
“You got to give credit where credit is due. Miami is a hell of a team; they are Hollywood as Hell, but they are still very good.”
When asked to elaborate about the “Hollywood as Hell” comment, Noah immediately responded by saying:
“Yes, they are Hollywood, but they are very good at the same time.”
After hearing Noah’s comments, TNT commentator Charles Barkley said:
“I love him man. I love that, that’s awesome.”
Way to take a page out off Barkley’s book Noah, the Miami Heat at times can be a Hollywood bunch.
