This past Saturday night marked the end of Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos’ magical season. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots dominated the 2011-12 AFC Divisional Playoff Round routing the Broncos and ending the game with the final score of 45-10. Ouch!

While the season for the Broncos didn’t turn out the way they hoped for, one major component that did exceed expectations was the overwhelming media coverage that surrounded the Broncos QB Tim Tebow.

This huge wave of media exposure was attributed to Tebow’s late heroics during the end of games willing his team to a victory more times than not. After each game, more eyes and more cameras were pointing to Tebow. Every move made was being captured and every word said was being noted. Tebow mania was getting ready to explode.

Then it finally happened. The gates of heaven opened and the “Hallelujah” chorus chanted… Hallelujah, hallelujah!

Given Tebow’s football success empowered by his strong religious beliefs, the 25th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft slowly went down on one knee, clinched his fist with his other hand holding his helmet, put his right hand to his forehead and closed his eyes…. Ladies and gentlemen, “tebowing” was born. Hallelujah! Gosh, I love saying that.

What does Tim Tebow think of “tebowing?”

Seriously people, when “tebowing” was born, it felt like “planking” immediately disappeared. In the blink of an eye, it became a world phenomenon and while the Broncos did lose in the playoffs ending the team’s wonderful run, the legendary act of “tebowing” feels as if it will never ever come to an end.

The “tebowing” movement is currently now bigger than ever and fans all around the world are buying into it. Whether you think “tebowing” is dumb or not, I have news for you… get used to it because it looks to be a trend that will continue to happen until Tim Tebow retires and his career is over.

Below are 20 awesome “tebowing” images guaranteed to have you wanting to do it too. If you do, remember to always have fun, be smart, and most importantly, at all times, be safe. Enjoy!

  1. Great post and pix. I expect any day to start seeing shots of Tim with a halo over his head, the Virgin Mary image behind him, etc. UFO experts will need to be called in to explain all the “activity” within photos of him. It is just a matter of time now. As for those who participate in “Tebowing,” I expect no off-season of photos for them. That will be a full-time hobby for the world.

You got that right man. Tim Tebow is the reason people are talking Broncos again. He might not be the best QB in the NFL, but outside of football, He’s JESUS! hehe

  2. Great collection of photos. The pretzel and under water ones were classic.

    cheers!

    • CDR says:

Thanks for the comment. Yes, both the pretzel image and the underwater picture was great. Also loved the “tebowing” stance on the ski left. Just awesome.

  3. With the Broncos bounced from the playoffs, I have no idea how SportsCenter is going to fill an hour-long television broadcast.

    • CDR says:

hehe that’s so true! Well, there are 4 great teams fighting to go to the Super Bowl… I am sure they can think of something.

  4. Sam Brief says:

Personally, I’m a huge fan of Tebowing. I, actually went to Europe and Tebowed in front of Big Ben and the Eifel Tower. Love it!
