No, it’s not your Internet. You’re not lagging.
If you thought LeBron James’ “flops” during an NBA basketball game were embarrassing, wait until you meet Filipino-Australian PBA [Philippine Basketball Association] basketball player, Mick Pennisi. After this little performance, Pennisi isn’t allowed to flop ever again. Ever.
So what exactly happened?
It seemed like Mick Pennisi and opponent Will McDonald were battling for inside position. As the two players continued to engage, both athletes had gotten tangled up. Pennisi and McDonald continued to be physical inside the paint. The referees calling the game allowed this type of play and since there were no whistles being blown, it forced the two athletes to take matters into their own hands.
As Pennisi continued to slap McDonald’s hands down, McDonald finally was able to get the offensive rebound. McDonald took two dribbles with his back away from the rim, turned around with bad intentions and threw the ball directly at Mick Pennisi’s head.
Not knowing exactly what to do, three seconds later, Mick Pennisi flopped to the ground as if he was trying to get a charging call from the officials.
Great idea Mick, the only problem is that no one ever touched you. Unbelievable!
