So much media coverage has been focused on the New York Jets this off-season that you would’ve thought “Gang Green” had won the Super Bowl last year.
Folks, this is no exaggeration. From Tim Tebow’s shirtless bonanza during the end of a rainy Saturday practice to cornerback Antonio Cromartie mentioning that he’s the second-best wide receiver on the team, Jets’ camp has been nothing short of entertaining, yet useless at the same time.
The Jets have yet to play one preseason game this year, but the team just keeps on mustering unnecessary attention. Today’s practice was no different.
During afternoon scrimmage, running back coach Anthony Lynn’s son and Jets’ safety, D’Anton Lynn had gotten into an altercation with Jets running back, Joe McKnight.
Via Twitter, New York Jets’ beat writer, Manish Mehta from the Daily News explained how the situation transpired step by step.
Judging from the video tidbit, Manish Mehta’s description of the fight seemed too over the top. Fights are normal in NFL training camps and this one like most Jets’ stories these days were blown out of proportion.
To the media, lay off the Jets’ crack pipe will you?

The New York Jets are quickly becoming one of my most hated teams. I’m so sick of them. I miss the days of Freeman McNeil, Al Toon and Wesley Walker. Those Jets I liked.
There’s so much media around the Jets that it’s starting to get boring. It’s not exactly how you want to “wow” your fans. There hasn’t been a single game played in 2012, yet the Jets find themselves as one of the most hated teams in the NFL along with the New Orleans Saints.

And this’ll be the only time that the Jets will show any aggression in the pre-regular season.
The New York press and beat writers are like sheep. They’ll salivate and get an ##ection reporting and writing about the Jets even when there isn’t a story to be had at all. How droll!
I hear you Alan. Enough is enough and from the looks of things, Tebow and the Jets are guaranteed to have a circus-type season. Everyday, there’s always something about the Jets, but the worst part of it is that it’s never about football. Hopefully, this changes.
Not even Tim Tebow has the power to fix this mess.
Nope, not even Tebow the “god” himself. The way the Jets are being reported right now, it would be a great idea to just shut up and play ball.
