Insulting Taekwondo Is Not A Good Idea (Video)

During the 2012 London Olympics, Australian sports commentator and television personality Sam Newman had criticized Taekwondo by claiming the sport was the “most ridiculous thing he’s ever seen.”

Three weeks after the comments, Newman’s exact words would then be put to the test. During the sports program, “The Footy Show,” Sam Newman had been given a chance to spar with two Olympic martial artists.

After all was set and done, let’s just say that Sam Newman gladly took back his words.

    Newman is an #ss, but then again, I’ve never thought highly of Australians to begin with! Rupert Murdoch? Need I say anymore?

    We martial artists (Karate -savate & tae-kwondo) take the sport seriously!

      After being kicked in the stomach multiple times, Newman definitely now has a new perspective on the sport.
