Kobe Bryant Stares Down Mike Brown Against Jazz (Video)

Early in the NBA 2012-13 season, the Los Angeles Lakers, probably the most talked about team in the league before the season started are now being discussed even more.

The Lakers, who made a bevy of moves this off-season (Dwight Howard and Steve Nash) might seem like the team with the best players on paper, but the performance is surely not quite matching up to the talent on the floor. Revered this year as an unstoppable team, the Lakers have done the opposite in their first five games with a losing record of 1-4.

The Los Angeles Lakers are not playing well. You know it, we know it, and guess what… Lakers’ star Kobe Bryant knows it too. During the last Lakers’ loss against the Utah Jazz, Bryant finally showed his frustration and seemed to want to take it out on his coach, Mike Brown.

If this look doesn’t constitute as a “death” stare, then we don’t know what does.

Easy now Kobe!

  1. Kobe can roll like that , because he’s the man in LA . Off to an inauspicious start 1-4 , I don’t think that the fingers will be pointing at the player , but at the coach and his coaching staff .

    • CDR says:

We definitely agree. Kobe Bryant will remain the face of the Lakers and can really do and say anything he wants. Alan, you hit it right on the head. When things go tough, it’s the coach that always gets the boot.

  2. Whatever Mamba wants, Mamba gets.

    Brown gone!

    That was inevitable.

    • CDR says:

Yes, it was only a matter of time. The big question is who’s the next replacement? Will Phil Jackson save the day? Lakers have already reached out to the “master” for his assistance.

  3. Clearly the Lakers’ front office haven’t a clue! They hire Mike DAntoni to succeed Mike Brown? How’s that meant to show that this team and organization is stepping ahead in the right direction?

    • CDR says:

Just like everyone in the world, we also thought Phil Jackson “Zen Master” was also going to get the job. It’s definitely a surprise, but when Steve Nash gets back from injury, it’ll be pick and roll city with Dwight Howard. The big question is how to get Kobe Bryant (a player who has many touches) included in the scheme.
