Alpine ski racer Lindsey Vonn will indubitably miss the rest of the 2013 World Cup season after crashing today in the Super-G. Vonn fell awkwardly in the speed event tearing both her ACL and MCL at the same time during the tumble.
The four-time overall World Cup winner will undergo season-ending reconstructive surgery on her legs and is rumored to no longer be available for the upcoming 2014 Olympics due to the injury.
Lindsey Vonn was immediately airlifted off the mountains in Austria today and was sent directly to the hospital. Let’s all wish Lindsey, one of our favorite women athletes, a speedy recovery.

No truth to the rumor then, that Lindsay Vonn’s “alleged boyfriend,” Tiger Woods will come in to aid her in her moment of need, by showing her his “9 iron?”
Tophatal ………
There’s never a dull moment with you Alan, that’s for sure. Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods? That’s not surprising.
First time I saw the video. Expected it to look worse than it does considering the injury reports. I expected an even more uncontrolled fall. With injuries all throughout her career, she’s still the greatest female skier of all time.
We agree Bruce. Vonn is one of our favorites and it certainly doesn’t hurt that she’s beautiful as well. We really hope Vonn is available for the 2014 Winter Olympics.
That’s what she gets for allegedly dating Tim Tebow.
She was probably distracted and frustrated that he wasn’t putting out.
It’s funny when you think about it given that it should’ve been the other way around. Landing Tim Tebow is harder than winning the lottery for some of these women.
