Forget about blocking a basketball with one hand, during last night’s game between Indiana and Detroit, Pacers’ swingman Paul George jumped in the air with two hands and literally swatted Rodney Stuckey’s dunk attempt during a fast break.
It takes some serious focus and incredible ability to be able to block a ball with two hands during transition and Paul George made it look very easy.
George throughout this whole season has been the “go-to” player for Indiana and it was a great way to let the entire league know he’s here to stay.
Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey had no choice, but to look down after the play.

With Brandon Knight injured, the Pistons remain inconsistent. Detroit was able to pick up José Calderón, but now the team looks to have more guards than it needs. It just feels like it’s a franchise that’s a bit confused right now.
To an extent, both of these players can work together, but we’re curious to see if George will continue to lead the Pacers. Granger had always been the “go-to” guy, but it’s probably now time to hand George the keys.

Who hasn’t blocked on the Pistons this season? I hear about the only thing that hasn’t blocked on that team has been a packet of laxatives.

And the rest of us wait to see if Paul George and Danny Granger can co-exist.
