It’s amazing how one great season could turn a player’s attitude into a completely different direction.
It was only a while back when Seahawks’ coach Pete Carroll was being criticized for inserting a player like Richard Sherman into the starting cornerback position. The risk made by Carroll paid off as Richard Sherman became one of the most dynamic and talented young cornerbacks in the entire league.
Nowadays, Sherman is receiving overwhelming exposure due to his sudden success on the football field. The glamour has definitely changed the way the young corner has handled the media. Some fans would view this young man as an arrogant individual, but Richard Sherman would tell you otherwise.
During a television interview with Skip Bayless and Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s show, “First Take,” Richard Sherman seemed focused on embarrassing commentator Skip Bayless.
Sherman went as far as to claim that Bayless would never accomplish anything. The young Seahawk didn’t stop there. The worst was when Sherman uttered the following:
“In my 24-years of life, I’m better at life than you.”
Wow, we’re speechless.
