With the Cleveland Browns recently trading their starting tailback (Trent Richardson) to the Indianapolis Colts, in addition to already missing their quarterback in Brandon Weeden due a thumb injury, many people anticipated a fairly easy victory at home for the Minnesota Vikings.
However, as many fans know, every NFL game still needs to be played and that is exactly what the Cleveland Browns did. Led by QB Brian Hoyer and a few trickery plays, the Browns made the matchup competitive ultimately winning the game in the end with the score of 31-27.
The Minnesota Vikings are still searching for their recipe for success, as the team is now 0-3 to begin the 2013-14 NFL season. Opponents are continuing to load the box to defend Vikings All-Star running back Adrian Peterson. Teams are basically daring Vikings QB Christian Ponder to throw the ball.
It’s a mess in Minnesota. Everyone was shocked that the Vikings had lost to the depleted Browns, even the young daughter of Adrian Peterson.
So my daughter is laying here under me and just out the blue she says… I can't believe you lost to the Browns Daddy! Smh
