Prior to kickoff of the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs matchup this past Sunday, Broncos leading tailback Knowshon Moreno had been caught crying his eyes out during the end of the National Anthem.
We’ve all witnessed professional athletes shedding a tear or two before game time, but never the way Knowshon Moreno cried on Week 13. Moreno exploded like a broken faucet as if he was standing in MetLife Stadium before the Super Bowl.
According to the New York Daily News, Moreno’s heavy tears were due to overwhelming emotions of the game and feeling blessed to be in the NFL.
Knowshon Moreno had 72 yards receiving and 18 yards rushing on 15 carries against Kansas City. The Broncos had beaten the Chiefs for the second time this season with the score of 35-28.
