Literally a week and a half after the Redskins had fired Mike Shanahan, Washington turns the page with their new head coach.

According to CSNWashington, former Cincinnati Bengals’ offensive coordinator Jay Gruden will now be leading QB Robert Griffin III and the Redskins come next season.

Jay Gruden had been the Bengals’ offensive coordinator for the past three years (2011-13). He is also the younger brother of Super Bowl Champion and ‘MNF’ analyst Jon Gruden.

During Jay Gruden’s 3-year stint as the Bengals’ OC, Cincinnati won a total of 30 games, made it to the postseason only to lose in the first round of the playoffs each year (Lost 2 to Texans and 1 with Chargers).

The Redskins new head coach will be introduced today via press conference.

Now that Shanahan is gone, What does ‘RGIII‘ think?
