Minnesota Timberwolves All-Star Kevin Love is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2015.

According to Ken Berger of CBSSports, one anonymous executive from the Eastern Conference believes Kevin Love no longer has intentions of staying in Minnesota.

“They should trade him,” one Eastern Conference executive said. “No one thinks he’s staying. Everyone knows he wants to go to the Lakers.”

The T-Wolves are currently still in the bottom tier (17-18) in the Western Conference and things in Minnesota aren’t getting any better.

Minnesota’s underachieving record, in addition to the team not playing very well are just a few reasons why it’s more than likely that Kevin Love will soon depart the state of Minnesota.

Similar to the Orlando Magic with Dwight Howard and quite possibly the New York Knicks with Carmelo Anthony, the Timberwolves are now faced with the same dilemma of figuring out if the organization should indeed trade their best player.

  1. Yeah , that circus will suit Love and his game . And when the pressure is too much to bear he’ll fall apart as well, much as in the same ….. way as Dwight Howard did last season .

  2. Ultimately, Minnesota has a problem.

How do they end up getting stars to stay in that town?

KG eventually left. Kevin Love will too.

    Rubio can’t be far behind.

Great point Chris. Everything revolves around winning and players nowadays are focused on creating their own “dream team” so that they could be closer to winning a championship. It’s just the nature of the league now and we doubt it will change in the future.
